Against the background of the ongoing war of aggression, the working paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges of Ukraine in the topic of hydrogen and Power-to-X products. Despite the ongoing war, the EU remains interested in Ukraine as a potential future supplier of hydrogen, to meet European energy demand and support Ukraine’s recovery. Ukraine must adopt European standards for hydrogen and comply with European legislation for hydrogen exports to the EU.
