The hydrogen market in 2030

This study presents a snapshot of the hydrogen market in 2030, when expected total hydrogen supply is expected to be in the region of 110 million tons, of which 12 percent could be green hydrogen. The authors then take that snapshot and compare it with an aspiration level that we calculate for 2040, namely 1 TW of installed electrolyzer capacity and approximately 240 Mt per year hydrogen production.
