The study in Egypt concluded that ammonia is the most prominent sector for green hydrogen use. Thus, clean production of ammonia to manufacture fertilizers for domestic use (as well as exports) becomes an investment opportunity. Technical-economic (feasibility) studies are now needed to ensure bankability for hydrogen projects for local markets.
